About Mark A DePaolo
With nearly 30 years of experience practicing law in Illinois, Mark DePaolo is recognized throughout the state as a leading trial lawyer. Having briefed and argued many notable cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Appellate Court of Illinois, he has an exceptionally strong background in workers’ compensation law and related fields.
His many years as a respected authority in the legal community also include serving as a past president and current member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association. In addition, he is actively involved in many other professional organizations and is currently affiliated with various legal institutions.
Mr. DePaolo received his Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree from DePaul University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University Law School. He was admitted to the Illinois bar and the United States District Court for Northern Illinois in 1979.
