Peter D. Corti, Managing Partner, has 40 years of experience handling Illinois workers compensation claims. He has tried cases before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission, as well as the circuit and appellate courts. Attorney Corti is the past President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Board Member of the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association. Richard E. Aleksy

Partner Richard E. Aleksy, our firm’s pre-eminent trial attorney, has 35 years of experience handling Illinois workers compensation claims, and has argued many cases before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission as well as the circuit, appellate and the Supreme Court of Illinois. On July 20, 2011, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn named Richard Aleksy to be one of only twelve members of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Advisory Board. Attorney Aleksy currently serves as an active member of the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association, and has served as a past President and Board Member of the Association. John J. Castaneda

Partner John J. Castaneda has 24 years of experience handling Illinois workers compensation claims. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Besides serving as past President and Board Member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association (WCLA), Mr. Castaneda has the distinction of being the first Hispanic President of the WCLA.
